From his hidden studio in the West Australian port town of Fremantle, Master Jeweller Craig Peters has drawn together a small, extraordinary team of craftsmen to design remarkably beautiful, totally hand-crafted jewels, for only the wealthiest, most discerning, most discrete global clients.

Each exquisite piece is housed in its own bespoke, hand-turned and laboriously polished wooden presentation case. No two pieces are ever the same.

This tourmaline is from the famous gem fields of Minas Gerais in Brazil. 
Gems have been mined in this area since the 16th century. The history of this particular gem goes back to London’s Hatton Garden in the late 1970s. 

While dealing in opal, an Australian gem dealer purchased a parcel of tourmalines, one of which was this gem. The dealer held it for thirty five years before repolishing it to enhance the brilliance. It was then acquired by Craig Peters. 
The carry case is hand-crafted from 110 year old Douglas Fir wood recycled from a local church. Insert panels are made from West Australian sheok. Fittings are brass. 

The Ring Box is hand-carved from a York Gum burl, a tree which is indigenous to Western Australia. The whole piece is French polished, the lid featuring a South Sea Pearl.
